As we look to the future to honor Fran’s memory, we want to share with you more information about the Fran Crippen Elevation Foundation.  Fran’s family has established the Foundation to

“aid aspiring athletes in their journey to elevate themselves.”

We are incredibly honored and humbled that the family has allowed us to assist in the establishment of the Foundation, and we would like to invite all of you to join us.  In the coming weeks, the family will be deciding exactly how the Foundation will support a select group of athletes, but we want to ensure our friends and fans that all donations made will go directly to the Fran Crippen Elevation Foundation, and in no way will benefit Elevation Athletics.  Any donations, large or small, are greatly appreciated as we all work together to honor Fran’s legacy.  We will be sure to update our site and provide more information about the Foundation as it becomes available.

Bless you all,

The EA Team

Fran meant so much to our family. This is one of my favorite pictures from that weekend. The other was Fran, Aaron, Brendan, and Eric laying in the sand for a game ( which Fran won!).

I only met Fran a couple of times and had lunch with him at the Olympic Training Center. He was driven, focused and a heck of a nice guy. Micha Burden was his good friend and spoke highly of him so I knew he was something special.

I was always a huge fan of Fran Crippen. I was one of the first people to tell him on F/B page (Elevation Athletics) that I will be cheering him all the way to London 2012. AND I WILL. He is not with us but his spirit will live on and I will remember him when the Olympians in 2012 will do their swim. He will be remembered forever in our hearts and our mind and his legacy will live on.
